Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Escobar (ranked 5225 p4p, 5468 weight class) and Speedy Strike (ranked 470 p4p, 481 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Strike.

Escobar shoots in and drives through. Strike sprawls well.

Strike just leaning against Escobar, taking a breather.

Escobar is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Strike to keep the fight standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Strike jumps guard and drags Escobar to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Strike has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Escobar off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
