Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikhil Moon (ranked 3971 p4p, 2821 weight class) and Yoshihiro Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nikhil Moon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihiro Akiyama! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moon scores with a nice head shot. Moon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Akiyama paws at him with a jab and circles away. Moon connects with a jab. Akiyama misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Moon moves into the clinch. Akiyama wants a takedown but no success here.
Moon lands a right hand that snaps the head of Akiyama backwards. Moon tries for a takedown but Akiyama manages to get underhooks.
Akiyama blocks an uppercut.
Moon is working for takedown but Akiyama is calmly controlling the position for now. A short left from Moon. Moon is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Akiyama to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nikhil Moon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Akiyama has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Moon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. What can Moon do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Moon is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Akiyama gets his way!

That's one minute gone in the round. Moon is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Moon is looking to escape here. Oh dear - Akiyama has locked on a rear naked choke here! Moon is tapping out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Yoshihiro Akiyama! A relieved looking Yoshihiro Akiyama thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
