In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 30 wins and 20 losses; Trip Fontaine! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 19 wins and 34 losses; Filmore Everett!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

Everett closes the distance and clinches.

Everett felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Everett tries to hold on but Fontaine pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fontaine has hold of Everett's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Everett manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Everett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fontaine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
