Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chay Willis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vince Vasher!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis throws a series of punches but Vasher moves out of range.
Vasher displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Willis.
Nice takedown defense from Vasher. No joy for Willis on that attempt.
Willis shoots for a double leg takedown but Vasher sprawls well. He's pushed Willis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chay Willis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Willis circles away from the clinch attempt.

Willis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Willis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Willis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vasher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Willis landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Willis lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Vasher is looking to control Willis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vasher avoid being mounted?

Willis drops an elbow to the side of Vasher's head.

Vasher throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Willis working over Vasher with some ground and pound. Vasher looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Willis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vasher's head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vasher can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Willis lands a nice short elbow.
Willis is looking to take a break and control but Vasher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Willis thows a huge punch but Vasher dodges it nicely.
Vasher keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Willis drops an elbow to the side of Vasher's head.
Vasher is trying to stand up here but Willis is controlling him well.
Vasher looks gassed!
Vasher has hold of Willis's hands but Willis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.


Vasher is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Willis lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Vasher quite badly. Vasher pulls Willis in close trying to recover. Willis postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Vasher on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Vasher doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chay Willis!
