Vice comes to the cage accompanied by Mojo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vice is defended easily by Wagner.
Wagner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wagner jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bruce Wagner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wagner tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vice uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wagner.
Wagner misses with a hook.
Wagner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vice tries to counter with a takedown but Wagner is quick to defend against it.

and Vice counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vice is looking for a kimura but Wagner is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Vice to get the leverage.
Vice is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Wagner!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vice looking to secure an arm triangle but Wagner defends it well.

Vice is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Wagner has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Wagner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vice. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
