Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Demuss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, John Albertson!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albertson shoots and misses
and Demuss counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Demuss throws a leg kick which misses Albertson's front leg but catches the back leg as Albertson tries to avoid it.
Albertson shoots in for a double leg but Demuss sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Demuss quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

and Demuss counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jake Demuss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Albertson.
Demuss throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Albertson moves to clinch but Demuss breaks away
and Demuss counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Albertson tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Demuss connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jake Demuss is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Demuss connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Albertson to the floor! Demuss dives in looking for the finish!
Albertson is rocked!
It looks like John Albertson has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Demuss in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Albertson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Demuss!
