Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Boulder (ranked 4020 p4p, 25678 weight class) and Beau Ruane (ranked 404 p4p, 520 weight class). Rock Boulder has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rock Boulder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Beau Ruane!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boulder misses the jab.
A swing and a miss from Boulder.
Ruane fails to land the takedown.
A punch combination from Boulder misses.
Boulder misses with a double jab.
Ruane with the counter takedown but Boulder avoids it easily.

A left and a right from Boulder both land. Nice combination.
Boulder swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ruane lands a head kick. Boulder smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ruane moves out of range of the leg kick from Boulder.
Boulder avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ruane closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Boulder did well to prevent Ruane getting side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boulder tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Ruane has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ruane punching from mount but Boulder doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Ruane tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The referee warns Boulder that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Ruane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Boulder avoids a series of strikes thrown by Ruane.

Boulder tries to reverse the position but Ruane maintains control.

Ruane trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Boulder doesn't escape.
Ruane has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Boulder.
Boulder looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Ruane is hanging on to Boulder's back as he tries to escape.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Boulder lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nice uppercut there from Boulder.
Ruane keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boulder throws a right hand that misses
and Ruane counters with a nice low kick that buckles Boulder's knee momentarily.
Boulder swings widly with a right hand
and Boulder takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Boulder misses with a two punch combination.
A lazy left from Boulder finds it's target.
Boulder throws out a powerful jab.
Rock Boulder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ruane shoots in looking for a takedown but Boulder manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ruane's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ruane slips a straight right by Boulder.
Boulder throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boulder misses with a straight right.
And Ruane tries to counter it with a takedown but Boulder pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Boulder will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Boulder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boulder throws a right hand that Ruane ducks under and follows up with a left that Ruane also avoids with ease.

Boulder misses with an uppercut
and Ruane comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Boulder stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Ruane is on him like rabid pit bull! Boulder slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Beau Ruane!
