Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anuwat Chaithong (ranked 4015 p4p, 4533 weight class) and Caz MacAulay (ranked 342 p4p, 374 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anuwat Chaithong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Caz MacAulay!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacAulay takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
MacAulay looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nice defenses there by Chaithong.
Chaithong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
It appears Chaithong was looking to counter with a kick there.
Chaithong tries to close the distance and clinch up but MacAulay swats him away and circles back towards the center.
It seemed like MacAulay was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
MacAulay blocks the body kick.
Chaithong tries to clinch there but MacAulay circles away.
MacAulay misses with a hook. Chaithong ducked under it nicely.
Chaithong keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from MacAulay.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MacAulay scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

MacAulay works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
MacAulay misses with the head strike.

MacAulay pushes Chaithong back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

MacAulay scores with a shot to the side of Chaithong's head.
MacAulay's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
MacAulay throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chaithongs head.
MacAulay managing to block the knees to the body from Chaithong.
MacAulay is working Chaithong over against the cage.
Chaithong using the Thai plumb to throw knees but MacAulay has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
MacAulay lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Chaithong backwards.
MacAulay lands a body punch in the clinch.
Chaithong tries to land knees in the clinch but MacAulay avoids the damage to the body.
MacAulay gets control of Chaithong's arms and successfully pulls guard. MacAulay will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
MacAulay is looking to cinch up a triangle. Chaithong throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to MacAulay's body to avoid the submission. MacAulay has instead reached around Chaithong's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! MacAulay arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Caz MacAulay!
