Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Antonio Rivera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Silly Billy!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Billy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rivera's guard.
Billy advances position into side control!

Billy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Billy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Billy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rivera knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Billy is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Rivera off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Rivera doesn't have the hooks in and Billy manages to turn into his guard.
Billy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Billy trying to control but Rivera is working from the bottom.

Billy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Billy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Rivera working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Billy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Billy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rivera is trying to keep Billy in close.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Rivera shoots in for a double leg but Billy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rivera takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A punch lands to the side of Rivera 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rivera misses with a low kick as Billy jumps back.

Silly Billy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Billy misses with an uppercut. Rivera saw that one coming.
Billy just misses with a punch to the body.

Nice shot lands for Billy.

Billy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Billy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Billy is trying to get an arm triangle but Rivera is defending well.

Billy is working to tighten his grip on Rivera's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rivera has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Billy is really squeezing tight and eventually Rivera passes out! Billy breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Silly Billy!
An out of breath Silly Billy thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
