Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Hong (ranked 3669 p4p, 4106 weight class) and Bob Joe (ranked 318 p4p, 213 weight class). Jonathan Hong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Hong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Joe!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Summer Carpenter and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Joe connects with a nice short shot to Hong's temple.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Joe working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Joe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hong wants to get back to his feet.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Hong counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Joe out cold! What a finish! Hong is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Our winner, Jonathan Hong, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
