Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hubert Gruber!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto shoots in for a takedown but Gruber shows good takedown defense.
Gruber tries a head kick but it misses.

Yamamoto shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gruber's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Yamamoto shoots in and bounces Gruber off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Yamamoto is working Gruber over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Gruber has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Yamamoto should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gruber has tightened it up now! Yamamoto should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
