Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ty Ty Brown (ranked 3532 p4p, 3278 weight class) and Nash Bond (ranked 133 p4p, 186 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ty Ty Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nash Bond!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bond darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nash Bond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown moves out of range of the strikes.
Brown takes one to the side of the head.
A telegraphed right hand from Bond misses the target.
Bond getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Bond works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bond rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Brown counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Brown drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bond looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bond looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bond!

Bond got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brown has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bond has managed to get both his arms back between Brown's legs - danger averted.
Bond really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brown escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bond gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

My spies in Xtreme Fighting Gym inform me that Bond has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Brown looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bond has picked Brown up and slammed him! Brown can't keep hold of the triangle and Bond manages to pass to side control!

Brown sneaks back into half guard.

Brown is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bond pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Brown might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Brown is pressing down on Bond's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Brown is looking for a triangle here but Bond uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The referee asks Bond politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bond prefers to stall for the moment though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Nash Bond will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Bond throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bond lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

and Brown counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Brown drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bond dives on top into guard.

Brown is looking for a triangle but Bond pushes his legs off easily.

Brown is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bond is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown is looking to cinch up a triangle. Bond throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Brown's body to avoid the submission. Brown has instead reached around Bond's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Brown arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ty Ty Brown!
