Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antoine Vargas!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bravo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Vargas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vargas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vargas checks the leg kick nicely there.
Vargas tries a head kick but it misses.
Bravo tries to clinch up.
Vargas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bravo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Vargas throws a counter combo.
Vargas scores with a head kick. Bravo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Vargas has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Vargas misses with a body shot.
Bravo appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Vargas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bravo moves away.

Bravo has closed the distance and engaged Vargas in a clinch.
Bravo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Vargas to keep the fight standing.
Bravo avoiding damage.
Vargas's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Bravo tries to pull guard but Vargas won't allow it.

Bravo is trying to break the clinch but Vargas is controlling him.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Vargas tries a knee to the head but Bravo blocks it.

Vargas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No luck for Bravo with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Bravo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick misses from Vargas.
Bravo tries to clinch but Vargas is having none of it.
Bravo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vargas can pounce on him.
Bravo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Bravo avoids the head kick by Vargas.
Vargas tries to bum rush Bravo with a series of wild strikes but Bravo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vargas lands a head kick. Bravo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Bravo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vargas throws a sloppy head kick and Bravo moves out of range easily.
Bravo shoots in looking for a takedown. Vargas tries to sprawl out of it but Bravo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vargas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Vargas cracks Bravo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Antoine Vargas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vargas lands a head kick. Bravo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Vargas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bravo misses with a kick to the body.
Vargas rushes Bravo and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Bravo is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Vargas piles on the pressure and Bravo crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
