Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 5612 p4p, 23020 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xxx Xxx could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Xxx Xxx's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 121 - 27 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 128 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fighter B is defended easily by Fighter A. Fighter A swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Fighter A dives in and scores a takedown into Fighter B's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Fighter B looking to control but Fighter A passes into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fighter B wants to control but Fighter A is keeping busy.
Fighter B keeping control of the position. Fighter A slows the pace down in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Fighter A is thwarting Fighter B's attempts to control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B dives in and grabs Fighter A's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fighter A pushes down on Fighter B's head and hops out. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fighter B. Fighter A drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter B trying to control the position.
Fighter B wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Fighter A is now in half guard. Fighter B is doing well to control the position and prevent Fighter A from advancing to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B tries to roll over but Fighter A keeps him under control. Fighter B is concentrating on defense, preventing Fighter A from advancing position. Fighter B is trying to maintain the position but Fighter A is very close to passing his half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Well, if Fighter A is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Fighter A bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Fighter B's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A happy to just control the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B struggling a bit here. Fighter B striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. You can see the frustration on Fighter B's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. You can see the frustration on Fighter B's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Fighter A staying calm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B struggling a bit here. Fighter B being controlled for a moment. Fighter B can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter A takes a little break here. Fighter B wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter A shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter B defends it nicely. Fighter B steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Fighter A drives through with a takedown into guard. Fighter B is controlling Fighter A's posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fighter B is keeping the position for now. Fighter B is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fighter A postures up.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Fighter B is pulling down on Fighter A's head. It's preventing any offense from Fighter A, at least for the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fighter B changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter A tries to avoid it but Fighter B manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter A to the ground. Fighter A escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fighter A throwing a counter right hand but Fighter B manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fighter B shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter A defends it nicely. Fighter A feinted there with a counter leg kick. Fighter A looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Fighter B is trying to maintain the position but Fighter A is very close to passing his half guard. Fighter A controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A moves into full mount! Fighter B won't be happy about that! Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fighter B is in all sorts of trouble here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Fighter A.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
