Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Small Fry (ranked 1109 p4p, 1049 weight class) and Arsi Kuja (ranked 143 p4p, 134 weight class). Arsi Kuja has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Small Fry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arsi Kuja!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Kuja misses.
A little feinted left hand from Fry on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kuja lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fry displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kuja throws out the jab.
Kuja throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kuja misses the jab.
Fry tries to move into range but Kuja moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kuja misses with an uppercut.
Fry on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuja scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Fry moves away from the strike by Kuja.
Fry definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fry bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fry tried to counter with a leg kick but Kuja avoided it.

Fry throws a low kick, looking for Kuja's leg but Kuja calmly moves out of range.

Fry looks to land a body kick but Kuja moved away.
Arsi Kuja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fry throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kuja appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Fry misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kuja.
A bone on bone clash there as Kuja blocks the leg kick.
Kuja throws out a counter right but Fry avoids it with no problem.
Fry lands a slapping body shot.
Kuja feints and then cracks Fry's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fry down.
Kuja throws a lazy right hand but Fry sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fry looks to throw the jab but Kuja is out of range.
Kuja was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Fry takes one to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kuja moves away from the strike by Fry.
Kuja closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kuja blocks a body shot from Fry.
Fry lands with a left to the head.
Kuja tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Fry struggles to land a body shot inside as Kuja controls his hands.
Kuja lands a right hand.
Fry can't find room to land a body shot as Kuja controls the action.
Kuja lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Fry or not.

Fry tries to work over Kuja's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Kuja lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Fry.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Fry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kuja pushes Fry against the cage. Kuja is working some dirty boxing. Kuja pushes off with a quick right hook! Fry goes down! Fry tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Kuja moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arsi Kuja!
Our winner, Arsi Kuja, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
