Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gabriele Ghiotto!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ghiotto swings for the body but Askren moves out of range.

Ghiotto is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Askren presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Askren has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ghiotto regains guard immediately.
Ghiotto is working an open guard so Askren takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ghiotto is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Askren rather than just go for the knockout.

Ghiotto is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Askren has his hands clasped together but Ghiotto extends and breaks Askren's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ghiotto.
