Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Greight Ness (ranked 3279 p4p, 4378 weight class) and Paulie Gualtieri (ranked 399 p4p, 474 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ness lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gualtieri displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ness throws out the jab.

Ness throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gualtieri stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Gualtieri might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Gualtieri might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Ness has got the better of the exchanges.

He tries to recover but Ness pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gualtieri is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Greight Ness!
Greight Ness bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
