Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Itchy Sinclair (ranked 3001 p4p, 2366 weight class) and Thufir Hawat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sinclair comes to the cage accompanied by John Cena - The Time Is Now. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thufir Hawat!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinclair fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hawat misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hawat wants to slow Sinclair down by chopping away at his legs.
Sinclair fails to land the takedown.
Sinclair shoots and misses
and Hawat makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Itchy Sinclair. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sinclair shoots for a double leg takedown but Hawat sprawls well. He's pushed Sinclair's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hawat throws a fast counter high kick but Sinclair manages to duck under it in time.
Sinclair fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hawat sprawls well initially but Sinclair persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hawat wants to get back to full guard but Sinclair has mounted him!
