PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Eric Kronke (ranked 22566 p4p, 24253 weight class) and Helio Coptor (ranked 529 p4p, 577 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kronke might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Feuer Frei. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kronke connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Helio Coptor has been cut.
Kronke has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Blood and Iron Training in the buildup to the fight.

Coptor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looked like Kronke was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

The fighters circle momentarily. Kronke darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kronke is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Kronke's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

Well Coptor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
