The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alabama closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Alabama jumps into guard, dragging Rizal to the mat.
Alabama pulls Rizal in close to his closed guard and prevents Rizal from doing any damage or advancing position.
Rizal wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Alabama's closed guard. He's half up but Alabama has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Alabama pivots and extends the arm, Rizal falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Alabama! Well done that man!
