The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Berendas tries to sprawl but Feet drives through with a takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Berendas (0) vs (2) Feet Berendas is trying to maintain the position but Feet is very close to passing his half guard. Feet is pressing down on Berendas's thigh, looking to free his foot. Berendas is holding on for now. Feet is controlling the pace.
Feet trying to mount his opponent but Berendas defends it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Berendas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

My spies in Dorito Academy inform me that Feet has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Let's hope that Feet has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Berendas sneaks back into half guard. Feet is figuring out what he wants to do next. Feet tries to pass to full mount but Berendas defends it.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Berendas works his way to full guard. Good work. Feet stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Berendas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Feet is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Feet trying to control but Berendas is working from the bottom.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Feet looking to pass the guard. Feet trying to control the position from guard on top but Berendas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Berendas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Feet is one step ahead there. Berendas trying to control the position.

That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Berendas sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Berendas tries to roll over but Feet keeps him under control. Feet trying to control the action but Berendas is working from the bottom. Berendas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Feet is working away from the top position though. Feet slows the pace down in half guard.
That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Berendas is not content to let Feet control the position. Feet performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Feet trying to control from half guard but Berendas is working away.
And that's the end of the fight! Feet wins on points by 14 to 0. Seemah Feet seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. |
