The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masiak avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Masiak connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Submit changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Masiak looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Masiak wants to get back to his feet but Submit drags him back down.

Masiak sneaks out the side door and pushes Submit away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Submit lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Masiak will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mirosz Masiak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Submit feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Submit is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Masiak rolls with it to try and escape but Submit cranks on the arm and Masiak is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
