Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Helloh Bluth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Billy Idol! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Idol wants to clinch up but Bluth keeps it at a distance. Bluth swats away the attempt to clinch by Idol. Bluth moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Idol tries to clinch up but Bluth circles away and keeps his distance. Idol scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sloppy strikes there by Idol. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Idol working away. Idol working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Idol has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Idol fails with the takedown. Idol looks gassed! Idol closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bluth circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bluth displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Bluth misses with a few strikes there.

Bluth keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Helloh Bluth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Idol. Bluth throws a head kick that half lands.
Idol scores a takedown into full mount! Bluth wants to hold on but Idol pushes him away. Idol moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bluth has worked his arm free - good work by Bluth!
Idol working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Check out the look on Idol's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bluth parries the strikes from Idol easily there. Idol is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bluth to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Idol will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A cross from Bluth lands. Bluth tries a head kick but it misses.
Idol wants to clinch. Bluth swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bluth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Idol looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bluth is fending him off so far but Idol persists. Nope, Bluth circles away and we're back to standing. Bluth throws a series of strikes that have Idol backpedaling.
Bluth connects with a high kick. Idol looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Bluth fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Idol, pushing him back against the cage. Bluth misses with a knee to the head. Bluth lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Idol has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bluth is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Idol content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Bluth tries to score a body lock takedown but Idol shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bluth stalling.
Bluth throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Idol takes an elbow to the forehead. Bluth trying to stall but Idol improves his position.
Idol has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bluth is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bluth tries to land a knee to the head but Idol blocks with his arms.
Idol pulls guard. Bluth trying to control but Idol is working from the bottom. Idol throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bluth looking to sit in guard and control but Idol gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Idol postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Idol dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Idol shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Bluth knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Idol on the ground. Bluth tries to hold on but Idol pushes him away. Bluth is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Bluth is rocked! Idol dominating with strikes here. Oh Bluth is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Idol with the ground and pound from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Idol can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bluth is looking to escape. Idol landing strikes, looking to finish! Idol is breathing heavily. Bluth is trying to escape the mount but Idol keeps good control and instead manages to take Bluth's back.
Bluth avoids the strikes from Idol.
That's one minute gone in the round. Idol is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bluth is defending well though. Idol let's go of the attempt for now. Idol really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Bluth. Idol connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Bluth to escape the position.
Idol lands an elbow to the side of the head. Idol is cranking Bluth's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Bluth! He's tightened the choke and Bluth is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Billy Idol!
