Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Laban Alfredsson (ranked 2954 p4p, 4882 weight class) and Andrew Parke (ranked 358 p4p, 483 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Laban Alfredsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Parke!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alfredsson lands with a hook. Parke tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Andrew Parke has been cut.
Parke looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Alfredsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parke moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Parke takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Alfredsson scores with a jab. Parke acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Alfredsson lands a jab to Parke's midsection.
Alfredsson lands a left and a right that send Parke crashing to the mat, dazed. Alfredsson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Alfredsson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alfredsson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Parke! Alfredsson dives in looking to finish! Parke is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Laban Alfredsson!
