Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Veloso II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Veloso II!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jermaine Williams!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Williams as Veloso II shoots in.
Veloso II shoots for a double leg takedown but Williams sprawls well. He's pushed Veloso II's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Veloso II is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Williams can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Veloso II had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Williams is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Veloso II Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Williams's back instead.

Veloso II is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Williams defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
