Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Cote!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Artusii.
Artusii connects with a right hand. Cote shakes it off.
It looks like Brian Cote has been cut.
Artusii looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Cote throws a head kick that misses.
Cote rushes Artusii and presses him up against the cage.
Cote blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cote is on top in guard.

Artusii on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Artusii tries to get out of the position.

Artusii tries to get to full guard but Cote has control of the leg.
Cote is pressing down on Artusii's thigh, looking to free his foot. Artusii is holding on for now.

Artusii has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cote is working away from the top position though.

Artusii is staying active underneath Cote, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Cote scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Artusii is looking to control Cote's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Artusii avoid being mounted?
Cote looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Artusii wants to control but Cote is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cote wants to get back to his feet.
Cote maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Artusii could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Cote has cracked it and Artusii is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Cote!
