Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Sakichi Kawamura (ranked 4559 p4p, 4562 weight class) and Woo Jin Seon (ranked 171 p4p, 169 weight class). Woo Jin Seon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Sakichi Kawamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Woo Jin Seon!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Seon has Kawamura up against the ropes in a clinch.

Kawamura appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Seon wants to clinch.

Seon takes the fight into the clinch.
Seon tries to break free but Kawamura pushes him back against the ropes.
Kawamura is looking to control Seon's arms but Seon gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kawamura has his back to the ropes.
Seon is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Seon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Seon blocks a body shot from Kawamura.
Seon stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Seon is trying to break the clinch but Kawamura is controlling him.
Seon doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Kawamura breaks from the clinch.
Seon takes a swing at Kawamura's ribcage but misses.
Seon tries to clinch there but Kawamura circles away.
Kawamura wants to clinch
and Seon counters with a one-two to the body.
Seon takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Seon looks winded!

Kawamura moves into the clinch.

Kawamura manages to break the clinch.
Seon tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Kawamura manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Woo Jin Seon will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Seon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Kawamura moves into the clinch.

Seon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Seon lands with a nice combination. Kawamura backs away looking to recover.
Kawamura takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Seon tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Kawamura manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kawamura moves into range and clinches up with Seon.
Kawamura prevents a body shot from Seon.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kawamura pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kawamura scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Seon beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

Seon moves into the clinch.
Seon misses with some punches.
Kawamura working hard to break the clinch.
Kawamura pushes Seon back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Seon is breathing heavily.

Kawamura manages to break the clinch.
Sakichi Kawamura is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kawamura darts in and clinches Seon up against the ropes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kawamura lands a knee to the head.
Seon can't find room to land a body shot as Kawamura controls the action.

Seon breaks from the clinch.

Seon tries to keep at a distance but Kawamura has taken the fight into the clinch.

Seon avoids the head kick by Kawamura.

Kawamura has Seon up against the ropes in a clinch.
Kawamura misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Seon.

Seon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kawamura looks to land a combination but Seon avoids it well.
Kawamura throws a right and a left that both miss.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kawamura tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Seon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Seon is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kawamura with a body shot.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sakichi Kawamura will take that round after scoring the only knockdown of the round.
The cut man is working on Woo Jin Seon's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Seon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Seon scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kawamura doesn't seem bothered though.
Seon swats away the attempt to clinch by Kawamura.
Seon moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kawamura tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Seon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kawamura is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kawamura walks forward, straight into a front kick from Seon.
Kawamura fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Seon checks it well.
Kawamura dances in with a quick combination. Seon is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Kawamura snaps Seon's head back. Seon stumbles backwards against the ropes. Kawamura steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Seon's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Seon just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sakichi Kawamura!
