This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Viktor Kruglov!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Muffin fails with a takedown attempt.
Kruglov moves into the clinch.

Kruglov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kruglov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kruglov is not content to let Muffin control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Muffin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Muffin wants to control the pace but Kruglov is squirming around nicely.
Muffin is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kruglov is surviving well by controlling Muffin 's body position as best he can.

Muffin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Muffin is working for a guillotine from mount but Kruglov frees his head quite easily.
Kruglov tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Muffin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kruglov for as long as he can get away with.
Muffin trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Muffin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kruglov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Muffin is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Kruglov is in real trouble.

Muffin tries to get the hooks in deep but Kruglov pushed the leg off.
Muffin has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Muffin is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Kruglov with him. Kruglov is trying to defend but Muffin has an arm under the chin now! Kruglov grimaces and is forced to tap out!
