Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Putin (ranked 3673 p4p, 3176 weight class) and Jonathan Archer (ranked 403 p4p, 361 weight class). Putin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, CATHARSIS. On his way into the cage it seems that Mike Putin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mike Putin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Putin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Putin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nice body punch from Putin.
Archer throws a looping overhand right but Putin ducks down to avoid it.
Archer moves into range and connects with a jab.
Putin misses with a double jab.
Archer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Putin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Mike Putin has been cut.
No joy there for Putin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Archer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Putin.
Putin cracks Archer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Putin's corner calls for a 1-2. Putin obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Archer lands a glancing blow to the side of Putin's head.
Putin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Archer circles away from the clinch attempt
and Archer counters with an inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice defenses there by Archer.
Putin tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Putin tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Archer counter with a right hand.
Putin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Putin rushes Archer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Archer lands a body shot in the clinch.
Putin can't find room to land a body shot as Archer controls the action.
Nice body punch from Archer.
A short uppercut from Archer.
Putin throws a head punch that misses.
Archer tries to throw a body punch but Putin avoids it by throwing Archer back against the cage.
Putin swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A left hand lands to the body for Putin.
Archer tries to break the clinch but Putin is controlling the position.
Archer prevents a body shot from Putin.
Archer lands with a light punch inside.
Archer lands a shoulder strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Archer scores with a nice hook to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Archer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Archer circles away from the clinch attempt
and Archer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
BOOM! Archer lands a beautiful left hook that drops Putin. Putin tries to recover but Archer is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Putin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

A less than humble Jonathan Archer misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
