Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chhawl tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Son swivels and escapes.
Son wants to clinch up but Chhawl keeps it at a distance.
Chhawl shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chhawl showed some decent athleticism there.

Son is looking for a sweep. Chhawl is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
