Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Little John!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pain Junky!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junky fails with a takedown attempt.
John avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Danga de danga de dang - Junky scores with a four punch combination!
John checks a leg kick nicely.
John went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Junky tries to clinch up.
John could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
John clinches with his opponent.
John tries to work over Junky's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
John turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Junky sneaks out the side door and pushes John away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
John feints and as Junky raises his hands in defense, John changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
John is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Junky has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. John is looking to defend but Junky has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for John! Junky pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, John taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Pain Junky!
