Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abdo Farah (ranked 1805 p4p, 2859 weight class) and Arturito Tampukpuk (ranked 211 p4p, 103 weight class). Abdo Farah is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abdo Farah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Arturito Tampukpuk!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tampukpuk misses with a wild body shot.
Tampukpuk wants to clinch up but Farah keeps it at a distance.
Farah throws a series of punches but Tampukpuk avoids them all with ease.
Farah sets himself, and Tampukpuk steps forward looking for the clinch! Farah avoids it this time.
Farah throws a leg kick

and Tampukpuk counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Tampukpuk looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Tampukpuk wants to work for an arm triangle but Farah is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Farah is refusing to be controlled, as Tampukpuk sits in half guard.

Farah manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Tampukpuk keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Farah struggles to land a body shot inside as Tampukpuk controls his hands.

Farah tries a body shot but Tampukpuk blocks it.

Tampukpuk breaks from the clinch.
Farah lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

and Farah makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Farah counters with a crisp one two that drops Tampukpuk! Farah thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Tampukpuk to his feet! Tampukpuk is in big trouble!
Farah falls off balance throwing a combination

and Tampukpuk counters by clinching up.

Tampukpuk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tampukpuk takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Farah connects with a leg kick.
Farah avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Farah throws a body shot but no joy.
Tampukpuk misses with a looping right.
Tampukpuk checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Tampukpuk lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tampukpuk.
The fighters circling - Tampukpuk throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A telegraphed right hand from Farah misses the target.

Farah lands with a right hand.
Tampukpuk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Farah swats him away and circles back towards the center.
It looked like Farah was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Tampukpuk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Farah.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Abdo Farah dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Farah throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Farah is looking to wear down Tampukpuk with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
A lazy left from Farah finds it's target.
Farah scores with a punch to the head.
Farah misses with a body shot.
We've been told by Farah's head coaches at The Hidden that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Farah lands a nice hook to Tampukpuk's body. Tampukpuk takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Tampukpuk throws a lazy right hand but Farah sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Farah swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Some wild striking there from Tampukpuk.

Tampukpuk feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Farah manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Tampukpuk darts in and clinches Farah up against the cage.
Farah tries to throw a body punch but Tampukpuk avoids it by throwing Farah back against the cage.
Farah scores with a shoulder strike.
Farah swings wildly with an uppercut but Tampukpuk uses good head movement to avoid it.
Farah is pushing Tampukpuk up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
A head punch on the inside from Farah fails to land.
Farah is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tampukpuk can do to turn this around?
Tampukpuk is trying to drag Farah to the mat but Farah just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Tampukpuk drops down looking for an ankle pick but Farah pulls his leg out and moves away.
Farah lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Farah.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tampukpuk swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tampukpuk thows a left - swing and a miss!
Tampukpuk closes the distance and clinches up with Farah, looking for a takedown. Tampukpuk pushes Farah against the cage but Farah circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Abdo Farah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arturito Tampukpuk.
Danga de danga de dang - Farah scores with a four punch combination!
Arturito Tampukpuk is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tampukpuk takes a body punch but keeps moving.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Farah working aggressively here.
A nice right hand lands inside from Farah.
Tampukpuk can't get the takedown.
Tampukpuk goes for a takedown attempt but Farah pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Farah throws a low kick but it's checked well by Tampukpuk.
A nice side step and Tampukpuk releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Tampukpuk lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tampukpuk has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Farah finds it's way round the side to connect with Tampukpuk's head.
Farah throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Farah lands a big uppercut and Tampukpuk crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tampukpuk looks OK. Farah waves Tampukpuk back to his feet!

Tampukpuk is rocked!
Abdo Farah is winning the standup battle so far.
Farah swings for the body but Tampukpuk moves out of range.
Tampukpuk is still on wobbly legs! Can Farah finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Farah walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Tampukpuk drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Farah swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Tampukpuk's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abdo Farah!
A relieved looking Abdo Farah thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
