Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zurabi Vakhtangishvili (ranked 3194 p4p, 4514 weight class) and Kendo Yakuza (ranked 333 p4p, 430 weight class). Zurabi Vakhtangishvili has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yakuza shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vakhtangishvili sprawls well. Vakhtangishvili wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Yakuza gets slowly back to his feet.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Vakhtangishvili takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

I was talking to Vakhtangishvili's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Yakuza has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Vakhtangishvili has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

After winning the bout, Kendo Yakuza thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
