Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 23713 p4p, 23665 weight class) and Kulata Bitok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kulata Bitok was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 45 - 63 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 36 - 71 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bitok fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Buktot avoids it really well and circles away. Bitok fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bitok is refusing to be controlled, as Buktot sits in half guard. Bitok is pressing down on Buktot's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Buktot lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bitok holds on and takes a little breather.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Buktot wants to pass the guard but Bitok is keeping the position. Buktot slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bitok stuffs the takedown. Bitok darts in looking for a takedown but Buktot gets double underhooks and turns Bitok into the cage. Buktot throws a quick counter kick to the body but Bitok avoids it. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kulata Bitok. Buktot scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Buktot lands a nice short elbow. Buktot looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bitok is holding on to half guard well. Buktot content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Buktot prevents Bitok from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Buktot takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Buktot trying to mount his opponent but Bitok defends it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bitok has a takedown stuffed. Buktot is looking to counter with a body kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Bitok stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bitok wants it to stay on the feet. Buktot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bitok tries to avoid it but Buktot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bitok to the ground. Bitok escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bitok with the counter takedown but Buktot avoids it easily. Bitok shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bitok controlling the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bitok throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Buktot has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bitok is working away from the top position though. Bitok perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bitok missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Buktot wants to control but Bitok is keeping busy.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bitok goes for a double leg but Buktot avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Buktot continues to drive forward. Buktot misses with a takedown attempt - Bitok sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. And Bitok responds with a good body kick, but Buktot manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dawindi Buktot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bitok darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Buktot keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bitok perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kulata Bitok showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Bitok shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Buktot pinned against the cage. Buktot gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Buktot misses with a takedown attempt and Bitok counters with a lovely shot to the body. Buktot dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Bitok taking some punishment here, with Buktot in his half guard. Bitok is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Buktot in particular looking to stall. Bitok regains full guard. Nicely done.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bitok with a flurry of punches that miss. Bitok content to stall in guard here. Buktot is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kulata Bitok. I think Bitok has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
