Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yawa Kiang (ranked 23707 p4p, 23646 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 40 - 72 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yawa Kiang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 54 - 57 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nada fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kiang thinks about countering with a body kick. Nada shoots in for a takedown but Kiang shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. It appears Kiang was looking to counter with a kick there. A momentary lapse in concentration from Kiang enables Nada to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kiang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Kiang is pulling down on Nada's head to control his posture. Nada wants to control from the top but Kiang keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiang looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada's corner is telling him to maintain position. Nada trying to control but Kiang is working from the bottom. Kiang has Nada pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A momentary lapse in concentration from Nada enables Kiang to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nada manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Nada can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kiang controls the pace. Nada trying to control the position here. Nada is continuing to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kiang looking to pass the guard. Nada is controlling Kiang's posture. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kiang shoots in but no luck this time. Nada steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. A momentary lapse in concentration from Kiang enables Nada to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kiang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Kiang is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nada controls from within his opponent's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Way Nada dominated that round. That's time! Kiang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Nice sprawl there from Nada as Kiang shoots in. No luck with that takedown attempt from Nada. Kiang drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nada sprawls and moves away. Nada looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kiang throws a big counter combination but Nada scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kiang is looking to counter with a body kick. Yawa Kiang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiang stuffs the takedown attempt from Nada. Nada gets slowly back to his feet. Kiang quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Kiang goes for a double leg but Nada avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nada continues to drive forward. Nada replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Kiang blocks it well. Kiang gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Nada regains guard.
Nada is wriggling around but Kiang manages to pass to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nada is positioning himself well to prevent Kiang advancing to mount. Nada is trying to control but can't.
Kiang is taking a breather. Nada says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kiang's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kiang wants to control but Nada postures up. Nada is looking to take a break and control but Kiang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kiang is trying to control Nada's posture but Nada avoids it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Yawa Kiang will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Nada scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kiang seems a little lost for a moment, as Nada dominates the positioning. Nada in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Nada wants to control but Kiang is keeping him busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kiang closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kiang lands in his opponent's guard. Nada seems keen to control Kiang's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Nada controls Kiang momentarily but Kiang frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nada wants to improve his position but instead Kiang has moved into half guard.
Kiang stops Nada from getting back to his feet.
Nada wants to control but Kiang is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kiang shoots in looking for a takedown. Nada tries to sprawl out of it but Kiang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nada manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nada follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
And that's the end of the fight! Yawa Kiang showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kiang has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
