Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Chase (ranked 1757 p4p, 2387 weight class) and Beibitzhan Zhanbolatov (ranked 233 p4p, 316 weight class). Chase comes to the cage accompanied by Ambitionz Az a Ridah. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Chase!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Beibitzhan Zhanbolatov!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase moves away from the strike by Zhanbolatov.
Chase throws a head kick that misses.
Zhanbolatov throws a looping overhand right but Chase ducks down to avoid it.
Chase misses with a left hand
and Zhanbolatov counters with a left to the body.

Chase gets a double leg takedown into Zhanbolatov's guard.
Chase throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zhanbolatov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Chase throws a strike but Zhanbolatov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Zhanbolatov won't allow Chase to sweep him here.
Chase definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chase preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Zhanbolatov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Zhanbolatov with a flurry of punches that miss.
Zhanbolatov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Chase wants to stand but Zhanbolatov is controlling the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zhanbolatov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Zhanbolatov throwing strikes from guard but Chase blocks nicely.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Chase throws a body shot but no joy.
Zhanbolatov blocks a jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

It looks like Danny Chase has been cut.
Danny Chase seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zhanbolatov looks to throw the jab but Chase is out of range.
Chase misses the shot to the body.
Chase on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Zhanbolatov clobbers Chase with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Zhanbolatov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Zhanbolatov throws out a loose jab but Chase uses good head movement to avoid it.
Chase takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Chase is rocked!
Zhanbolatov moves out of range as Chase strikes.
Zhanbolatov throws out a counter right but Chase avoids it with no problem.
Oh Chase is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zhanbolatov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chase throws out the jab.
Chase seems to have got his legs back now.
Chase misses with a head kick.
Zhanbolatov avoids the head kick by Chase.
Chase throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Zhanbolatov drops Chase with a big left hand and mounts him. Chase is in big trouble!
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Zhanbolatov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Zhanbolatov! Chase is hurt baaadly! Zhanbolatov is firing away with more strikes - Chase is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
