The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from LaFleur.
Nice body punch from Buakaw.
Buakaw pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
LaFleur is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Buakaw looks to land a combination but LaFleur avoids it well.
An attempted straight right counter from LaFleur misses the target.
Buakaw misses with a straight right.
Buakaw fails to land with a series of punches.

Buakaw scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. LaFleur doesn't seem bothered though.

and LaFleur counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Buakaw thinking.

As Buakaw tries to get set, LaFleur tries to push him back and clinch up but Buakaw manages to avoid the attempt.

Buakaw walks into a stiff left hand from LaFleur.
It looks like Banchamek Buakaw has been cut.
Buakaw misses with a few strikes there.
It looked like LaFleur was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Buakaw misses with an uppercut.
As Buakaw tries to get set, LaFleur tries to push him back and clinch up but Buakaw manages to avoid the attempt.
Buakaw lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Buakaw misses with a head kick.
Buakaw throws a right hand that LaFleur ducks under and follows up with a left that LaFleur also avoids with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Buakaw misses with a lunging right hand
and LaFleur counters with a stiff right hand.
LaFleur drops Buakaw with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Buakaw looks back up at him and smiles so LaFleur waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Buakaw throws a head kick but LaFleur moves out of range.
Buakaw swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and LaFleur counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Buakaw swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
LaFleur cracks Buakaw with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Buakaw looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can LaFleur finish him?
Buakaw is rocked!
LaFleur fakes the body blow, causing Buakaw to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Buakaw goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
