Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henry Hardcore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Lennox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Lennox will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lennox shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Hardcore is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Lennox reverses the position - he's now on top in Hardcore's guard.
Hardcore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hardcore has momentary wrist control but Lennox slips an elbow through the middle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hardcore is striking off his back. Lennox thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Hardcore is looking to get back to full guard here but Lennox has managed to pass to side control instead.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hardcore slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Hardcore tries to roll over but Lennox keeps him under control.
Lennox is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Hardcore can't escape the position.
Lennox postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hardcore looks a forlorn figure.

Hardcore had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lennox is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hardcore Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lennox's back instead.
Lennox tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Lennox regains half guard.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Lennox. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Hardcore trying to mount his opponent but Lennox defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardcore slips a nice elbow through Lennox's hands, connecting with Lennox's forehead.

Hardcore is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lennox defends it well.
