Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mate Magyar (ranked 1593 p4p, 1617 weight class) and Magilla Gorilla (ranked 167 p4p, 174 weight class). Magilla Gorilla will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Mate Magyar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Magilla Gorilla!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorilla clinches with his opponent.
Magyar is trying to trip Gorilla. He has hold of a leg but Gorilla is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Magyar persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Magyar sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Gorilla looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magyar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Magyar tries to free his leg and advance position but Gorilla is retaining full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magyar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Magyar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Magyar is pushing down on Gorilla's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gorilla is fighting to maintain full guard but Magyar has managed to sneak the leg through.
Magyar looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Magyar content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Gorilla gets back to full guard.
Magyar is in close to Gorilla's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Magyar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gorilla working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Magyar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Magyar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gorilla wants to improve his position but Magyar is controlling well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Gorilla has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Magyar is working away from the top position though.
Gorilla wants to get back to full guard.
Magyar takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Gorilla is refusing to be controlled, as Magyar sits in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Magyar lands a nice short elbow.
Magyar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gorilla with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Magyar is really struggling to control Gorilla but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Gorilla is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Magyar has latched onto it... Big trouble! Magyar pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Gorilla is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Magyar!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mate Magyar!
An out of breath Mate Magyar thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
