Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Santos (ranked 3323 p4p, 4698 weight class) and Typus Typhoon (ranked 365 p4p, 455 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mario Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Typus Typhoon!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Typhoon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Santos is just riding it out for now. Typhoon eventually gives up the hold.

Santos goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Typhoon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Santos but great work by Typhoon.
