Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eishuu Retsu (ranked 3018 p4p, 2712 weight class) and Jarrah Hooper (ranked 381 p4p, 348 weight class). Jarrah Hooper has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eishuu Retsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jarrah Hooper!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Retsu misses.
Hooper throws out a counter right but Retsu avoids it with no problem.
Retsu walks into a straight right hand from Hooper.
Retsu takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Retsu shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Eishuu Retsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Retsu on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hooper takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Retsu takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hooper punishes Retsu's body with a nice straight punch.
Hooper connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Retsu throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Retsu throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Retsu lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Jarrah Hooper has been cut.
Retsu throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Hooper throws a shot to the body.
Retsu misses with a head kick.
Retsu motions for Hooper to come forward. Retsu throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Retsu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Retsu tries to land a leg kick but Hooper saw it coming and moves away.
Despite the aggression on Hooper's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Hooper throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Retsu tumbling to the canvas!

Retsu is rocked!

It looks like Eishuu Retsu has been cut.
Hooper distracts Retsu with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Oh Retsu is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hooper is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hooper is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hooper arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Retsu's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jarrah Hooper!
A less than humble Jarrah Hooper misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
