Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bones Jones (ranked 2948 p4p, 2514 weight class) and Valto Joki (ranked 369 p4p, 332 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with My Hallelujah blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries for a takedown but Joki sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Joki ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Joki as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Joki, which made it look bad.

Jones dives in and grabs Joki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Joki pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Bones Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Joki.
Joki looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Joki's waist but Joki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.

Joki sends Jones crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Joki is motioning to the referee to let Jones up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Valto Joki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Joki misses the jab.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Jones seems to have got his legs back now.

Jones goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Joki rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jones's guard! Nice work there by Joki!

Joki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jones is staying active underneath Joki, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Joki might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jones haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Joki is pressing down on Jones's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jones is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is not content to let Joki control the position.
