Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hanz Wagner (ranked 1975 p4p, 2861 weight class) and Arthur Odom Hunt (ranked 233 p4p, 326 weight class). Odom Hunt has chosen Yesterday By Beatles Or: Imagine By Yoko Ono As Sung By John Lennon - Vs Se as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hanz Wagner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Arthur Odom Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odom Hunt tests Wagner's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Hanz Wagner has been cut.
Wagner tries for a takedown but Odom Hunt circles away easily
enabling Odom Hunt to counter with a crisp jab.
Wagner gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Odom Hunt counters with a stiff right hand.
Odom Hunt cracks Wagner with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Wagner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Odom Hunt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hanz Wagner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wagner closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Odom Hunt quickly recovers to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Odom Hunt can do anything to dispel that myth.

Wagner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wagner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've been informed that Odom Hunt has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Odom Hunt tries to buck Wagner off but Wagner is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wagner is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Odom Hunt is trying to escape and Wagner transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Odom Hunt is forced to tap! Nice work there by Wagner! Very nice indeed!
