Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Vellitis (ranked 2917 p4p, 1557 weight class) and Leonard Norton (ranked 271 p4p, 160 weight class). Leonard Norton is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Vellitis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leonard Norton!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vellitis throws a body kick that misses
and Norton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Norton lands a nice shot to the body.
Norton cracks Vellitis with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Vellitis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vellitis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Norton bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vellitis's head.
Norton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Vellitis shoots in for a takedown but Norton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Norton connects with a body shot.
Norton stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Vellitis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Vellitis misses with a double jab
enabling Norton to counter with a crisp jab.
Vellitis is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Norton fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Vellitis to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Vellitis looks to clinch but Norton throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Vellitis taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Leonard Norton!
Our winner, Leonard Norton, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
