Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Seventoe Southpaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baron Black!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Southpaw takes a swing at Black's ribcage but misses.
Black getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Southpaw steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Black.
Southpaw misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Black counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Black misses with a looping left.
Southpaw slips a jab from Black.
Black misses with a left hand
and Southpaw cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Southpaw steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Black.
A big right from Southpaw misses.
A little jabbing left from Black on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Black looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Black misses with a left hand
enabling Southpaw to counter with a crisp jab.
Southpaw throws a leg kick that is checked
and Black connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Southpaw slips a straight right by Black.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Southpaw scores with a decent looking hook.
Seventoe Southpaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Southpaw connects with a body shot.
Black uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Black lands a nice shot that snaps Southpaw's head back.
Black misses with a right hand
and Southpaw counters with a nice uppercut.
Black is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Southpaw.
Southpaw feints and then cracks Black's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Black down.
Southpaw definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Black throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Southpaw counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Southpaw ducks under a wild hook from Black.
Black lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Black checks a leg kick.
It seemed like Black was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Black throws a hook to the side of Southpaw's head but Southpaw sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Southpaw with a nice calf kick.
Good shot there by Southpaw.
Black slips a straight right by Southpaw.
A jab from Black misses.
Southpaw misses with a jab to the body
and Black connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Black lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Southpaw is rocked!
Black drops Southpaw with a straight right hand, right on the button! Black follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
