Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Oliveira (ranked 1874 p4p, 2596 weight class) and Faruq Farquaad (ranked 197 p4p, 246 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Oliveira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Faruq Farquaad!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira digs a good body shot into Farquaad's ribs.
A nice inside leg kick there by Oliveira. That's going to slow Farquaad down.
Oliveira throws a front kick that sends Farquaad stumbling back into the cage.
Jab by Oliveira.
Farquaad is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Oliveira.
Farquaad misses with a left hand
and Oliveira counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Faruq Farquaad has been cut.
Farquaad throws a shot from downtown. Oliveira moves away and avoids it.
Farquaad loads up on a big right hand but Oliveira slips the punch.
Jackson Oliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oliveira slips a straight right by Farquaad.
Farquaad looks to throw the jab but Oliveira is out of range.
Oliveira scores with a leg kick.
Oliveira slips under a jab.
Oliveira throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Farquaad on the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Farquaad is rocked!
Oliveira lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Farquaad head around and knocks him out cold! Oliveira hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jackson Oliveira!
