Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edward Mills (ranked 2904 p4p, 2286 weight class) and Thufir Hawat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mills comes into the arena with Rock the Dragon. Dragonball Z blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 27 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edward Mills!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thufir Hawat!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills throws a body kick that misses.
Hawat slips a jab from Mills.
The fighters circling - Mills throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hawat looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Mills looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hawat is fending him off so far but Mills persists. Nope, Hawat circles away and we're back to standing.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mills.
A head kick misses from Hawat.
Hawat scores with the left hand. Mills knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Edward Mills has been cut.
Mills slips under a jab.
Hawat avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hawat flicks out a counter leg kick but Mills steps away.
Mills tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick from Hawat lands but Mills takes it in his stride.
Mills tries a low kick but Hawat avoids it.
Mills misses with an uppercut.
Mills throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hawat counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mills is rocked!

Mills lands a lovely overhand right.
Oh Mills is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Thufir Hawat has been cut.
Hawat throws a sloppy head kick and Mills moves out of range easily.
Hawat pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It looked like Mills wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Mills scores with a jab. Hawat acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Hawat lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Thufir Hawat!
A less than humble Thufir Hawat misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
