Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Crazy Mike!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mike's hands.
Mike defending well as Potter loads up on a big left hand.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mike! But no joy.
Potter misses with a left hand
and Mike counters with a straight right hand.
Potter scores with a nice head shot.

Potter gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Mike lands with a left to the head.
Mike is stalling here.
Mike throws a head punch that misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Potter.
Potter lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mike or not.

Potter tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mike's elbow.

Mike's coach down at London MMA Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Mike's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mike is leaning against Potter and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mike takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Potter digs a right hand underneath Mike's ribcage. Mike let out a lung full of air as it connected.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Scott Potter will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Potter wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Potter missing with a left hand there. Mike was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mike uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Potter.
Potter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Scott Potter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Potter throws a hook to the side of Mike's head but Mike sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've been told by Potter's head coaches at Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A lazy left from Mike finds it's target.
Potter throws a body punch but Mike moves out of range.
Mike looks like he wants to counter punch here.
The crowd cheers as Potter lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mike doesn't seem phased though.

Mike is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Potter ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Mike clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Scott Potter!
In his post fight interview, Scott Potter started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
