Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Jones (ranked 2405 p4p, 3797 weight class) and Davis Chang (ranked 320 p4p, 453 weight class). Jones's entrance music is Lydia - Highly Suspect. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Davis Chang!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chang shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones attempts a counter takedown but Chang avoids it well and moves away.
Chang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chang drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Chang takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Chang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Chang is taking a breather. Jones says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Chang is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jones can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That was a close second round but I would say that Justin Jones will probably get the nod.
