The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Francis gets cracked there but stands up to it.

A low kick from Durant is predictable there
and Francis finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Tom Durant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The cut above Tom Durant's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

We've been told by Francis's head coaches at Gunplay MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Jayson Francis will probably get the nod.

Tom Durant's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tom Durant's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A less than humble Jayson Francis misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
